State Officer Report and Intranet!

This new online tool is used by state presidents and state officers to access leadership resources and online reporting.
Here’s what you will find by accessing the new online intranet for State Officers:

ONLINE REPORTING STEPS

1. The FCCLA USA intranet for resources and reporting is a password protected site.  Download reporting instructions and the access information here. [link to the file attached]
2. Each State Officer should report their achievement by the 5th of each month
3. Each State President should report a summary of the team’s efforts by the 10th of each month
4. Your report should “summarize” state officer team activity. You should report the highlights of the month of leadership. Be specific. Make sure your report is measurable. Examples:
1. Tell us how many letters were sent.
2. Share how many emails and phone calls were made.
3. Tell us the conference or workshop attendance.
4. If you use the name of an important person, tell us their title and who they represent (instead of Mr. Jennings use ABC News Anchor Peter Jennings).
5. Try not to generalize in your report. Examples:
1. Many people thought the presenter was great.
2. A lot of people attended the workshop.
3. We were very busy. We did a lot of things.
6. Remember you are writing to a national audience. These leaders may not be as familiar with the local events or names of what seems common to you. Clearly explain and enlighten the national leaders about your state!
7. You will not receive a copy of your summary report via email. Click on the “View” section in reporting to see your final report and reports submitted by other state officers.  Please email your state president and state advisor each time you complete your monthly officer report.
